Earth Month Give Away

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's (MPCA) Resource Center and Library is sharing FREE resources during their Earth Month Give-Away on April 12 and 13.

The MPCA's Resource Center and Library will host an Earth Month Give Away to share gently used resources on Thursday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, April 13, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its St. Paul office at 520 Lafayette Road North on the first floor.

From their website:

In the spirit of reduce, reuse and recycle during Earth Month, resources & displays from years past will be available free of charge to those who can put them to good use.
A wide-variety of these timeless environmental education and outreach resources are terrific for work-related presentations or displays, for sharing with your local school, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth-groups, community groups, neighborhood organizations, and more!
We invite you to stop in to peruse the materials and take any free resources or treasures you can use or share with others. An example what's available include:
  • Videos -- VHS and DVDs on a wide-range of topics appropriate for a variety of ages
  • Posters -- posters on environmental topics including water, recycling, waste reduction, etc.
  • Fact Sheets and Brochures -- although the models pictured on the materials are years older the educational value of the material is timeless. Check out the variety.
  • Curriculum and education guides -- a number of K-12 curriculum and education guides on waste-related issues
  • Display materials and panels
  • Publications & books
