Caught in the act...

of saving energy!

While walking past the office of Officer O'Hehir at Twin Oaks Middle School, I caught her working at her desk with the overhead light off.

She was utilizing the natural light coming through her window. Thanks for doing your part, Officer O'Hehir, every little effort does add up and make a difference!

WOW! GD 4th graders are Awesome and Fantastic!

Yesterday I visited the entire 4th grade at Glendale Elementary in Savage. These students were the first in our district to play the Energy Challenge Game Show. In the title of this post, I am referencing their teams names: Team Awesome, Team Fantastic and Team Wow.

These kids were sharp and had a lot of fun with the energy related trivia questions. They already do many things in their classrooms to promote energy conservation and now they have learned even more they can do to make a difference when it comes to saving energy.

Thanks for a fun and educational visit to Glendale! Please keep up the good work of being energy efficient at school and at home!

Who wants to try the Game Show next???
