In the first five quarters of participating in the SEE program, the Prior Lake-Savage Area School District saved over $245,000 in energy costs. Looking at these savings from an environmental perspective, our eco-conscious district prevented the emissions of 1,350 metric tons of carbon dioxide which is equivalent to more than 34,600 tree seedlings planted and grown for 10 years.
This blog is brought to the Prior Lake~Savage Area School District by the Energy Efficiency Coordinator for ISD 719. Check back often for new posts including news, information, fun facts, energy saving tips and sustainability initiatives.
